Misfit Leaves Home (An Okal Rel Universe Legacy Novella)
Hiding her obsession with fencing and space ships was hard enough for Princess Victoria before the arrival of the scandalous, but every so fascinating, Pureblood Prince Amel who has come to stay with her family to learn how to interact properly with nice Demish families. Amel is lovely to look at and still fresh enough from his upbringing as a commoner to mix and mingle happily with Victoria's friend, Rebecca, the family maid. But he also incites the anger of Victoria’s brother, Salvador, and stirs up trouble by succumbing to Victoria's pleas to teach her how to fly a rel-ship. Tight corsets, snooty neighbours, fatal duels and an accidental caffeine overdose all contribute to the panic and the humour as the heroine of the short-story "Ladylike" in Opus 2: An Okal Rel Universe Anthology, rides again in her first novella.
About Krysia Anderson:
Krysia Anderson grew up hearing stories of the Okal Rel Universe as a friend of Lynda Williams' middle daughter, Angela Lott. Krysia's writing debut was a short story for Opus 2: An Okal Rel Universe Anthology, where she introduced the character Victoria, a half-Vrellish girl much too violent and vigorous for the expectations of her Demish family. She plans on writing a series of novellas dealing with Victoria’s adventures, starting with Misfit Leaves Home. Krysia Anderson graduated from high school in 2011. [MORE]
